Our Elementary Principal

Mrs. Kathy Cutchall

Mrs. Cutchall is a 1995 graduate of Penn State University where she completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. She began her career in teaching in 1996 as an Instructional Support Teacher at Southern Fulton Elementary. She later became a kindergarten teacher. While teaching in kindergarten, Mrs. Cutchall earned her Master’s in Education with a concentration in Reading and a Reading Specialist Certification from Frostburg State University. She later began teaching as a Title I Reading and Math teacher in grades K-6. In 2014, she began her administrative career at Southern Fulton Elementary as the Dean of Students. In 2016, Mrs. Cutchall received her Post-Master’s degree with a Principal’s Certification from Shippensburg University and became the Southern Fulton Elementary Principal, where she has been until coming to Southern Huntingdon County in July.

Mrs. Cutchall loves kids and is excited to work in this district. She hopes to be a positive influence in these students’ lives to help them succeed and achieve to their fullest potential, while knowing they are cared for and supported by their school and their community.
