Spring Farms Oil Release Update:
The most recent information from our engineers indicates that an activated carbon treatment water system is a possibility. In addition to the water treatment, a building vapor monitoring system in conjunction with a vapor mitigation system may also be obtainable. These systems go out to bid and the costs will become public information at the bid opening.
The current focus is to safely reopen Spring Farms Elementary. At the Board Workshop on April 12th, ventilation and water mitigation systems will be discussed. System installation may go beyond the start of the 23-24 school year resulting in a proposal to start school with Spring Farms in a pod at the HS/MS and then transfer to Spring Farms Elementary on or close to the end of the first marking period.
