NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON CONTEMPLATED SCHOOL CLOSING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Southern Huntingdon County School District Board of School Directors will be holding a public hearing pursuant to Section 780 of the Public School Code of 1949, as amended, to present information as well as to receive and consider comments from the public on the issue/question as to whether Shade Gap Elementary school should be permanently closed and/or explore other options.
The hearing shall be held in the Auditorium at the Southern Huntingdon County High School, 10339 Pogue Road, Three Springs, Pennsylvania 17264 on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at 6:30 p.m.
