Mrs. Ashley Peterson

Welcome to Kindergarten

Hello! My name is Mrs. Ashley Peterson. I am the kindergarten teacher at Shade Gap Elementary. I am starting my 17th year of teaching for the Southern Huntingdon County School District. I taught 1st grade for 5 years, and I am currently starting my 12th year of teaching kindergarten at Shade Gap Elementary. As a child, I attended Shade Gap Elementary and graduated from Southern Huntingdon in 2000. After graduating from SHC, I continued my education at Penn State University and earned a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from there in 2004. I love my family, my pets, watching my children play sports, reading, camping and teaching kindergarten!
