Our teachers, administration and school security officers have received concerns regarding an alleged threat at the Southern Huntingdon vs. Mt. Union football game on Friday 10/11/2024. The reports mention a shooting during the game. Our investigation has not substantiated any credible threat. As a precaution we have notified Mt. Union SD’s security officer for follow-up as well. It is our understanding that they will be requesting additional resources. This correspondence is being disseminated so that each person can make an informed decision based upon the information available at this time.
