A proud graduate of Southern Huntingdon County School District (Class of 2006), Mrs. Lambert has deep roots in the community and a passion for supporting its students. After high school, she went on to achieve success as a collegiate basketball player at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 2010.

With extensive experience in both the public and private sectors, Mrs. Lambert has held a variety of accounting roles throughout her career. Her commitment to education and professional growth led her to complete a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Shippensburg University in 2018.

In 2020, Mrs. Lambert returned to her alma mater as the District’s Business Manager, and in her new role as Superintendent, she will continue to serve the community with dedication and passion. A strong advocate for student success, Mrs. Lambert can often be found at sporting events and extracurricular activities, cheering on students and fostering school spirit.

Her leadership is grounded in a deep understanding of both the academic and financial aspects of the district, ensuring that Southern Huntingdon County School District remains a place of excellence for all students.

Superintendent’s Goals

2026-2027

  • Continue the development and implementation of a standards-aligned curriculum, to improve student achievement as measured by state and local assessments, utilizing instructional strategies and provide progress updates as appropriate to the Board. (Standard 3 & 4)
  • Continue to work with the School Board to develop a comprehensive infrastructure plan, supported by an aligned budget and strategic communication framework. (Standards 4 & 5)
    • Evaluate and determine the most viable elementary school consolidation option based on current legal, financial, and facility constraints following the Section 780 public hearing, and provide clear, consistent communication to the Board and community regarding options, developments, and recommended next steps.
    • Will lead a comprehensive evaluation of the district’s aging athletic facilities and infrastructure, including financial feasibility, and make a recommendation based on that analysis.
  • Review Policy Sections 300, 400, & 500. (Standard 1)
  • Collaborate with the Board’s negotiations committee to successfully negotiate and finalize a new collective bargaining agreement with the Southern Huntingdon County Education Association. (Standard 5)
  • Evaluate and redesign the student enrollment process by transitioning from a paper-based system to a centralized, electronic model under a single point of responsibility, improving efficiency, accuracy, and consistency in student registration. (Standard 1 & 5)
